Refund and Cancellation Policy

Our refund windows, service-specific terms, cancellation procedures, and dispute resolution. See also the Outcome Guarantee Terms for Guarantee Products.

3. AI / Website-Only Components

For the AI / website-only portion of any package — and for packages that are entirely AI / website-based, such as School List Lite — the refund treatment is:

  • 100% refund if requested within thirty (30) days of purchase
  • 50% refund if requested between days 31 and 60
  • No refund after day 60

Once any advisor time has been consumed under the same package (or any advisor PS review is delivered), advisor-session non-refundability (§4 below) applies to the advisor portion. The AI / website portion may still be refundable under this §3 if the request is within the 30-day or 60-day windows above.


4. Advisor Sessions — Non-Refundable Once Delivered

Advisor sessions, including personal statement writing or review (which counts as one 30-minute session), are non-refundable once delivered. "Delivered" means:

  • For a session: the session was completed and marked Completed in the platform, OR
  • For a personal statement review: the advisor marked the review as Complete in the platform

4.1 Cancellation Before Session

  • 24+ hours' notice: Full refund of that session's allocated cost
  • Within 24 hours, or no-show: Non-refundable
  • Rescheduling: Without penalty with 24+ hours' notice; not permitted within 24 hours

4.2 Once the Session Begins

A session is considered delivered as soon as it begins (advisor joins the session window). Mid-session technical failures attributable to the Platform (Zoom outage, Simli avatar failure, etc.) may justify a re-do session at the Company's reasonable discretion.


5. Multi-Component Packages (PS 3-Session / 5-Session, Mock Pro Lite, School List Pro / Elite)

For packages combining AI tools with a fixed number of advisor sessions:

  • 100% refund within 30 days AND no advisor session consumed
  • Pro-rated refund within 30 days AND some sessions consumed: refund equals package price minus ($35 × sessions consumed) minus any AI generation portion already delivered
  • No refund once 50% or more of included sessions have been consumed

5.1 PS 1-Session (Review-Only) — Special Rule

PS 1-Session does not include a live advisor meeting. The single included "session" is an asynchronous advisor review of the student's submitted personal statement.

  • 100% refund if requested before the advisor has delivered the PS review
  • No refund once the advisor has marked the PS review as Complete in the platform

The AI / website portion of PS 1-Session (PS Analyzer, AI Fix Suggestions, Advisor Hub access) remains subject to the §3 refund treatment if the advisor PS review has not been delivered.


6. Comprehensive Pro ($2,499 — No Guarantee)

Comprehensive Pro is the premium package without a money-back outcome guarantee. Refund eligibility:

  • 100% refund within 14 days of purchase AND fewer than 3 advisor sessions consumed
  • Pro-rated refund after 14 days OR 3+ advisor sessions, but fewer than 50% of included sessions: refund at advisor cost basis ($35 per session consumed), at the Company's reasonable discretion
  • No refund once 50% or more of included sessions have been consumed

7. Outcome Guarantee Products (Mock Elite Guarantee, Gold Lite, Gold Guarantee)

Refunds for these three Guarantee Products are governed exclusively by the Outcome Guarantee Terms (outcome-guarantee-terms.md). Key points repeated here for convenience.

7.A The Scope of the Promise — "AT LEAST ONE School"

The Outcome Guarantee promises admission to AT LEAST ONE CODA-accredited US dental school in the Cycle of purchase if you complete every Required Deliverable. The promise is admission to one — any one — dental school.

No refund is owed if you are admitted to any CODA-accredited US dental school you applied to during the Cycle, regardless of:

  • Whether the school is your first choice or your last choice
  • Whether the school is in your preferred state or location
  • Whether you can afford the school's tuition or cost of living
  • Whether the school's ranking, curriculum, or specialty match rate meets your preferences
  • Whether you accept the offer, decline it, defer it, withdraw, or fail to matriculate
  • Whether the offer comes from a school you wanted to attend or a school you do not want to attend

Admission is admission. See Outcome Guarantee Terms §1.A and §4.8 for the complete statement of what is and is not covered. Read those sections before purchasing.

7.1 14-Day Satisfaction Window

A full refund is available if requested within 14 days of purchase AND fewer than 3 advisor sessions have been consumed, regardless of the eventual application outcome. This is a satisfaction-based change-your-mind window. Refund issued via the original payment method if within Stripe's 180-day window, otherwise via ACH.

7.2 After 14 Days — Outcome-Based Refund

After 14 days, refund eligibility is determined exclusively by the Outcome Guarantee Terms. Key requirements (all must be true):

  • You completed every Required Deliverable in OGT §4 — PS advisor approval, full school-list compliance, timely application, session attendance ≥80%, advisor response time, interview attendance, no voluntary withdrawal, no rejection of admission offers (declining or deferring an offer means you were admitted; no refund), no school-list modifications without approval, honest reporting
  • You received NO Admission from any CODA-accredited US dental school you applied to during the Cycle (one or more offers means no refund — see §7.A above)
  • You submit a complete evidence package per OGT §5.2 (AADSAS portal screenshot, rejection correspondence from every school on your list, sworn declaration, bank info, identity re-verification)
  • Refund request submitted between May 1 and July 31 of the year following the Cycle of purchase

7.3 Refund Amount and Method

  • Mock Elite Guarantee: 100% of net amount paid, via ACH
  • Gold Lite: 50% of net amount paid, via ACH
  • Gold Guarantee: 100% of net amount paid, via ACH

ACH refunds typically settle within 5-7 business days of issuance.

7.4 Read the Full Outcome Guarantee Terms

You must read and accept the full Outcome Guarantee Terms at the time of Guarantee Product purchase via the scrollwrap modal. Do not purchase a Guarantee Product without reading the full OGT — including §1.A "What This Guarantee Does and Does Not Cover."


8. State-Distance-Education Override

To the extent the laws of California, Maryland, Texas, or any state where you reside provide refund rights more favorable to you for online educational services or distance-education programs, those rights apply notwithstanding any contrary term of this Policy. 9. Refund Request Process

9.1 How to Request

Submit refund requests via:

9.2 Required Information

Include:

  • Your account email and full name
  • Transaction ID or order number (in your purchase confirmation)
  • Date of purchase
  • Package or component
  • Reason for refund request
  • For Guarantee Products: the evidence package required by Outcome Guarantee Terms §5.2 (AADSAS screenshot, rejection correspondence, sworn declaration, bank info)

9.3 Response Timeline

  • We acknowledge refund requests within 7 business days
  • Approved non-Guarantee refunds initiate within 3-5 business days
  • Approved non-Guarantee refunds typically settle within 7-15 business days (via Stripe to original card)
  • Approved Guarantee refunds issue via ACH within 5-7 business days of evidence approval

9.4 Refund to Original Payment Method

Where possible, refunds issue to the original payment method. For Outcome Guarantee refunds outside Stripe's 180-day card-refund window, refunds issue via ACH per OGT §6.


10. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable regardless of other provisions:

  • Packages or services purchased beyond the applicable refund window
  • Advisor sessions that have been delivered
  • Digital downloads or templates that have been accessed or downloaded
  • Purchases made using fraudulent payment methods or stolen credentials (these may also trigger account termination and law-enforcement referral)
  • Purchases for which a chargeback has been initiated (until the chargeback is resolved)

11. Refund Abuse and Fraud Prevention

The Company may refuse refund requests from customers who:

  • Submit repeated refund requests for similar services with documented patterns of abuse
  • Request refunds after substantial use of services delivered
  • Submit fraudulent refund requests (altered screenshots, false declarations, fabricated evidence)
  • Are identified through identity verification or AADSAS verification as having misrepresented stats or outcomes

Per Outcome Guarantee Terms §8.4, a refund request found to contain material misrepresentation results in (a) denial, (b) a $250 administrative verification fee, and (c) referral to the California Attorney General and the AADSAS Office of Conduct and Ethics for investigation.


12. Chargebacks

12.1 Encouraged Process

Customers are encouraged to contact the Company directly to resolve disputes before initiating chargebacks with their bank or card issuer.

12.2 Chargeback Consequences

Initiating a chargeback in lieu of following this process may result in:

  • Account suspension or termination
  • Forfeiture of refund eligibility for the disputed purchase
  • The Company's submission of clickwrap evidence, deliverable logs, recorded calls (where applicable), and sworn declarations to the card network in defense of the charge
  • Recovery of chargeback-related costs through arbitration to the extent permitted by law

12.3 Federal Rights Preserved

Nothing in this policy waives or limits any consumer's federal chargeback rights under the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, the Fair Credit Billing Act, or other applicable federal law.


13. Cancellation and Account Closure

13.1 Cancelling Unused Credits

You may request cancellation of unused package credits at any time. Cancellation alone does not entitle you to a refund; refund eligibility depends on the windows in §§ 2-7.

13.2 Closing Your Account

You may close your account at any time via account settings or by emailing [email protected]. On closure:

  • Unused credits expire immediately
  • Refund eligibility is determined by the applicable window at the time of closure
  • Generated content (personal statements, interview recordings) is available for download for 30 days, then permanently deleted

13.3 Re-Opening

You may create a new account after closure, but previously-purchased credits or packages cannot be restored.


14. Non-Transferability

Packages and credits are non-transferable. A parent or guardian may purchase on behalf of a named student per Terms and Conditions §16.1; the student remains the contractual counterparty for delivery and refund. Refunds (if owed) return to the original payment source.


15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Policy is governed by California law. Disputes are subject to the dispute-resolution provisions of the Terms and Conditions §10 (AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, class waiver, 30-day opt-out, small claims carve-out).


16. Amendments

The Company may update this Policy with 14 days' email notice for material changes. Existing eligible refunds are honored under the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
